Hillsborough County

  •  Winter Village Opening: This Friday at 6:00 pm marks the debut of this year’s Winter Village at the Tampa Riverwalk. Consisting of an ice rink, holiday boutiques with local vendors, a cafe, and a holiday-themed train ride that offers milk and cookies, the Winter Village is the perfect place to kick off the holiday season.

  • Free Holiday Movie In the Park: Enjoy a holiday classic with the family this Saturday at Curtis Hixon Park. The Tampa Theatre will be presenting a free screening of The Polar Express, which will be starting at 7:00 pm, with concessions available for purchase. Festive attire and film-inspired costumes are encouraged!

  • John Fogerty Concert: Are you ready to rock at the Yuengling Center this Saturday? Rock n’ Roll legend and former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman John Fogerty will be performing a benefit concert for the Charity Pros for Heroes Tour, which provides scholarships to the children of frontline workers and first responders.   •  Tampa Heights Harvest Market: Celebrate the season of giving in The Heights at the Harvest Market this Sunday, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. In addition to featuring local eats and vendors, there will also be horse-drawn hayrides, a pumpkin patch, a bounce house, and an art exhibition. Admission is free, with proceeds from the event going to the families of the Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association.

 

Pasco County

  • Holiday Mall Carnival: Plenty of thrilling rides, tasty fair foods, and carnival games await at the Holiday Mall Carnival this weekend! The Carnival will be open Friday from 5:00 to 11:00 pm, Saturday from 12:00 to 11:00 pm, and Sunday from 12:00 to 10:00 pm. Admission is free, with tickets and ride wristbands available for purchase.

  • Fall Funk Fest: Groove to the funk this Saturday, from 12:00 to 8:00 pm, at Land O’ Lakes Heritage Park. The festival will offer live funk music from acts like Reverend Barry & The Funk and the Gotta Groove Band, food trucks and local vendors, a petting zoo, face painting, and much more!   • Family Fishing Festival: For the aspiring anglers in the family, look no further than the 24th annual Family Fishing Festival at Withlacoochee River Park this Saturday, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This free event will feature guided river fishing, vendors, learning stations that help instruct people on how to fish, and plenty of fun games and activities. There will also be a free fishing rod giveaway to each of the first 300 children ages 3 to 15 who register for the event. Pre-registration is required for this event and can be accessed here.

  • Mason Dixon’s Best of the Best Car Show: Come see classic and custom cars line the streets of Wiresgrass at the Best of the Best Car Show, hosted by local radio personality Mason Dixon, which benefits his holiday gift drive that helps local families in need. A gift box will also be stationed by the Macy’s at Wiregrass mall to collect donations for the holidays.

Pinellas County

  • Garden Bros Nuclear Circus: The circus has come back to town! Witness jaw-dropping spectacles like the human cannonball, performing dogs, Olympic gymnasts, death-defying motorcycle stunts, and much more at Tyrone Square Mall this weekend.   •  St Pete Bike Fest: Experince high-octane fun at the St Pete Bike Fest, a weekend-long celebration of motorcycles, Saturday and Sunday starting at 10:00 am at the OCC roadhouse. Local vendors will be there and the event will feature multiple live musicians including Night Ranger.

  •  TICA All Breed Cat Show: See some divine felines at this year’s All Breed Cat Show this Saturday at Banquetmasters from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Hosted by Skyway Cat Club, this cat show features a competition that highlights over 25 different breeds of cat and a panel of judges from around the world, cat rescue groups, and vendors specializing in pet products.

  •  Manheim Steamroller Concert: Get in the Yuletide spirit this Sunday at Ruth Eckerd Hall and dance to new-age takes on your favorite Christmas songs from Manheim Steamroller. The concert will start at 7:00 pm, with this year’s performance featuring a selection of songs from the band’s first album as well as some state-of-the-art lighting effects.   •  Inverness Festival of the Arts: Citrus County’s longest-running art festival is returning for its 30th year in bringing fine art, food, and fun to Downtown Inverness. Admission into the Inverness Festival of the Arts is free, with the festival happening on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Courthouse Square.

Lee County

  •  Big Ol’ Bonfire: Mosey on down to the Big Ol’ Bonfire this Sunday at the Sun Splash Festival Grounds for an evening of country music, good food, and plenty of fun.
