If you're up for a beach excursion, follow an additional pedestrian trail across the Dunedin Causeway to reach Honeymoon Island State Park. Keep in mind that there is a $2 admission fee for cyclists.

3. Forth Friday Tampa

On every fourth Friday of the month, make your way to the Tampa Riverwalk for an arts and culture event that celebrates downtown Tampa! Start by picking up your lanyard at the Straz Center, which grants you free admission to the Henry B. Plant Museum and provides access to various discounts and changing cultural exhibits. On the first Sunday of each month, make your way to Hyde Park Village for the Fresh Market. This beloved local farmers market is a popular and cost-free activity, boasting over 80 vendors and plenty of opportunities for some delightful dog watching (don't forget to bring your furry friend along!). Alongside the vendors, you can enjoy live music and soak in the inherent charm of Hyde Park Village, which is ever-present. We suggest arriving early, although the event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

7. SUNSETS AT PIER 60 FESTIVAL

Enjoying a breathtaking Gulf coast sunset is a cherished activity for Tampa Bay residents. Why not elevate this experience into a full-fledged celebration by joining the nightly Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival on Clearwater Beach? Almost every evening throughout the year, visitors, street performers, and artisans come together for a vibrant sunset celebration that's a must-attend whenever you're in the area.

8. CURTIS HIXON WATERFRONT PARK


This waterside park, situated just a stone's throw away from the Tampa Riverwalk, invites couples with its ample open-air breezes and expansive, lush green surroundings. Furthermore, it hosts a range of recurring events, such as monthly Rock the Park concerts in the great outdoors, which are entirely free for all to enjoy.

9. PINELLAS COUNTY HERITAGE VILLAGE

With 33 historic structures to its name, the Heritage Village proudly presents itself as a "living history museum." Mark your calendar for the second Saturday of every month when galleries in St. Petersburg's Waterfront Arts District, Central Arts District, EDGE District, Grand Central District, and the Warehouse Arts District extend their hours from 5 to 9 pm for an incredible art walk. Showcasing a diverse array of art forms including pottery, glasswork, paintings, sculptures, and more, this monthly event, hosted by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, is a must-attend for art enthusiasts and is entirely free.
