Hillsborough County

  • Florida State Fair: Ride thrilling coasters on the midway, visit newborn calves at the Mooternity Ward, stunning stunt shows, and much more at this year’s Florida State Fair. The Fair will be going from February 10th to the 21st, opening at 11:00 am on weekdays and 10:00 on weekends. While you’re there you can chow down on some over-the-top fair food! After all, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a chicken and waffle pizza anywhere else.

  • For The Love of Wine and Chocolate: Indulge in sweet treats and fine wines at this class that teaches you about pairing wine and chocolate. Tickets are $35 and include 4 different wines from around the globe paired with chocolates that were made by a local chocolatier. For the Love of Wine and Chocolate will start promptly at 6:00 pm Friday evening at the Culture Suite Event Venue.

  • Sensual Scents: Develop your own signature scent with the Tijon Fragrance Lab of Tampa this Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Just Love Coffee Cafe. Explore over 60 different fragrance oils and create a fully customized bottle of perfume or cologne.

  • Knights of Sant’Yago Parade: A Tampa tradition since 1974, the Knights of Sant’Yago Parade brings lighted floats, live music and dancing, and colorful pirate costumes to Ybor this Saturday. The festivities will start at 7:00 pm.

  • Galentine’s Day Sunset Cruise: The Florida Aquarium is hosting its own Galentine’s Day Sunset Cruise for gals and their pals on Sunday, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. Cruise down the Bay in a 72’ catamaran with an animal ambassador send-off, hors doeuvres and treats, an open bar, live music, and complimentary poems from Gios Typos. You can even “Chirp Your Ex” by naming a cricket after an ex that the aquarium will then feed to their birds.

 

Pasco County

  • Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate: Try three different pairings of cheese, wine, and chocolate at Epperson Lagoon this Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. There will also be a glass carafe provided that you can paint with a partner. Tickets to the event are $25 and can be purchased here ahead of time.

  • Valentine’s Dinner Date Night: Delight in a three-course meal, Valentine’s Day-inspired drinks, and a photo booth this Saturday night at Rising Stars Events in Zephyrhills from 6:30 to 10:30 pm. Dinner and two drinks are included with the ticket price for Valentine’s Dinner Date Night, which is $60 per head.

  • Painting With Kangaroos: Crikey! Paint a marsupial masterpiece this Saturday at Tree House Farm in New Port Richey. The farm is hosting a guided painting session along with four of their kangaroos. The event will go from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Pinellas County

  • Localtopia: Featuring over 300 local businesses and organizations, Localtopia is the St.Pete community’s celebration of all things local.. Grab a bite in Food Truck Alley, watch live performances and art demonstrations, or even acquire some reading material in Literary Corner. The world is your oyster at Localtopia this Saturday!

  • Love Fest: Love Fest celebrates good food, fashion, and one-of-a-kind vintage goods this Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Hosted by Page Boy, a locally owned vintage shop, the event will also highlight a handful of local St Pete vendors.

  • Heart by Heart: What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with Heart? Heart being the name of the 1970s Steve Fossen outfit known for classic rock anthems like Barracuda, Crazy On You, and Magic Man. Performing at the Central Park Performing Arts Center in Largo, Heart’s concert will start at 8:00 pm, with tickets starting at $24.50.

Sarasota/Manatee County

  •  Circus Sarasota 2022: Circus Artists from across the world are coming to Regatta Island in Sarasota for the Circus Sarasota 2022. Jugglers, acrobats, show dogs, and daredevils galore will be performing at this circus which will be going from February 11th to March 6th. Polk County

  •  Valentine’s Block Party: A partnership between Downtown Lakeland, Buena Market, and the Lakeland Art Guild, Lakeland’s Valentine Block Party is a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day while supporting local artists. A curated group of artists, vendors, and food trucks will be coming to Kentucky Avenue this Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. The event will feature an art walk in which guests will get a punch card to be completed by visiting each artist’s tent. Completed punch cards can be turned in for a chance to win a gift card to one of the local Downtown businesses. In addition, there will be a wine walk in which you can purchase tickets to sample all the different wines at tasting stations across the block.

Citrus County

  •  Free Movie in The Park: They’re creepy and they’re kooky! A free screening of the animated Addams Family film will be showing at Wesley L Jones Memorial Park this Friday at 5:45 pm. In addition, there will be concessions available to purchase, corn hole, life-sized board games, and other fun games for the whole family.

 

Lee County

  • Thomas Edison’s 175th Birthday Celebration: Take part in the festivities as the Edison and Ford Winter Estates celebrate Thomas Edison’s 175th Birthday. The celebration starts at 10:00 am with a string ensemble performance from local students, then birthday cake after singing Happy Birthday to Edison, followed by music played on an antique calliope, and lastly, a phonograph demonstration. The event is free for the public.
