Fun Things To Do In The Tampa Bay Area This Weekend (11/5-11/7)

Hillsborough County

  • Multicultural Festival: Take a journey around the world this Saturday from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at the 6th annual Multicultural Festival in Westshore Plaza! With plenty of globally inspired food, handcrafted art, an African fashion show, and much more, this event is sure to to be a world class experience.

  •  Wild and Wonderful Florida: Plant City’s Garden Club’s annual flower show is this Saturday, at the Plant City Community Center, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Witness award-winning horticultural displays and outstanding floral creations, and learn more about botany and flower arranging.

  • Tampa Bay International Auto Show: Come down to the Tampa Convention Center this weekend from to see the Tampa Bay International Auto Show. Look at a variety of new-model vehicles, trucks, SUVS and high-end sports cars from manufacturers like Bentley, Maserti, and Rolls Royce.

  •  Fresh Market: This Sunday, Hyde Park Village’s monthly Farmers Market will be taking place from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Featuring over 120 different vendors, this farmer’s market is a must for people who love farm fresh produce!

 

Pasco County

  • St George’s Greek American Festival: Celebrate Greek culture with the whole family this weekend at the Greek American Festival, open from 4:00 to 11:00 pm Friday, 11:00 am to 11:00 pm Saturday, and 12:00 to 10:00 pm Sunday. The festival offers jaw-dropping rides, music, special vendors, and authentic Greek cuisine in addition to some classic carnival fare.

  • Grady Goat Yoga: Relax and grab a mat for a serene experience among friendly goats, donkeys, cows, and a pig named Maya! The yoga session will be held this Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 am , with tickets being available to purchase here. A portion of the proceeds go to help to support Project G.O.A.T (Global Offensive Against Trafficking).

  • Pasco Arts and Upcycle Event: Come to Sim’s Park in Downtown New Port Richey this Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm to see jaw-dropping art displays that feature recycled material. Local vendors will also be there selling upcycled goods such as spoon bracelets and pallet benches.


Pinellas County

  • First Friday St Pete:  One of the biggest block parties in the bay area is back this Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 pm!   •  James Warhola: Uncle Andy & Other Stories: Learn more about one of the founding members of the Pop Art movement with a conversation with James Warhola, Andy Warhol’s nephew, at the James Museum this Saturday at 2:00 pm. Warhola will also discuss his experiences as an illustrator for the past 40 years at this event, which is free with the purchase of museum admission.

  • 5th Annual Pinellas Festival of Community Bands: Saturday at 1:00 pm, witness a wonderful afternoon at Pinellas Park full of live music by Pinellas County’s own concert and community bands. Admission is free, with food trucks stationed at the park to feed hungry concert-goers.

Sarasota/Manatee County

  • Sarasota Medieval Fair: The Medieval Fair is returning to Sarasota this weekend! Experience jousting, jesters, pony rides and much more. . The fair will be held ever weekend throughout November with tickets available to purchase here.

Polk County

  •  Art Crawl: Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 p, get creative at a free art festival in Downtown Lakeland. In addition to a wide collection of art to peruse and purchase, the Art Crawl will also be hosting a live painting competition called Art Wars, a battle which pits artist against artist to see who can make a unique work using a box of surprise materials.

 

Citrus County

  •  Stone Crab Jam Music Festival: Celebrate all things stone crab, a local delicacy, at the 14th annual Stone Crab Jam Music Festival in Downtown Crystal River. Enjoy plenty of crab, arts and crafts, and live bands on three separate open-air stages this Saturday from 12:00 to 10:00pm.

Lee County

  •  WINK Taste of the Town: Enjoy some of Lee County’s best food, live music, and vendors this Saturday and Sunday, from 11 :00 am to 5:00 pm in Centennial Park, along the Caloosahatchee River. Tickets are free for the first 2,500 attendees, and are $10 for everyone 3 and older after that.
