Now through September 30th, you can help reel in a cure for pediatric cancer with The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Fishing Funds the Cure is a virtual fishing tournament that provides an opportunity for fishermen of all levels to use their passion to raise awareness and funding for our young warriors battling cancer. It is only $25 to register and if you refer 5 people to register for the All American Fishing Tournament 2020, your entry fee will be refunded and you will participate for FREE!

  • Shine Drive-In Mural Theatre: If you love admiring the murals in St. Pete, then you’ll love this. PixelStix creator Matthew Walker and Shine have chosen 9 murals to share the story behind the work of art and the artist that created it. You’ll be able to do all of this from the safety of your car. How it works: Download the free PixelStix app on your phone Search for “Drive-In Mural Theatre” Follow the map to a drive-in location & park in a way that doesn’t block anyones view Use the app to listen to a 3-5 minute explanation of the mural When you’re done, hit the back button twice to return to the map and drive to your next location. This tour covers 2 miles of Downtown St. Petersburg. It’s a way to enjoy the beautiful murals while social distancing.

Hillsborough County

  • Busch Gardens Summer Nights: Busch Gardens is bringing back Summer Nights on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights through August 16. You can expect extended hours, new backyard BBQ inspired tastes and sips all while you take in the spectacular display of rides as the light up the night followed by a NEW laser and fireworks show. As you know, there are extra health and safety measures in place, so you’ll need to social distance and wear a mask. You will also need to make a reservation to attend.

Pinellas County

  • St. Pete Pier: Eat, drink, shop and play at the new St. Pete Pier.. The new playground area is quickly becoming a family favorite in Tampa Bay, just make sure to bring plenty of hand sanitizer and/or hand sanitizing wipes with you. Stay late and look up to see the Bending Arc light up in a spectacular display. You will need to wear a mask inside the stores, restaurants and Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center.
