Local Distillery Kozuba & Sons Shifts All Resources to Produce Hand Sanitizer

Locally owned and operated distillery, Konzuba & Sons, is doing their part in these difficult times, by focusing all available resources in the production of hand sanitizer.

The hand sanitizer will be made using the highest grade spirit that otherwise would have been used to make vodka. Kozuba & Sons is following all World Health Organization (WHO) hand sanitizer formulation recommendations, according to an Instagram post.

“We’re working through a distribution plan with public safety as top priority. The last thing we want to do is put anyone at risk, so we’re working through a plan to distribute our hand sanitizer in partnership with community leaders and local organizations so as many people as possible can benefit.”

The owners noted, “We will have a limited amount available simply because bottles are difficult to come by at the moment”, but insure they will do their best to purchase more bottles with dispensers as soon as they become available.

The distillery has cancelled all tours for the time being, to focus all efforts on production. Their retail store remains open for grab-and-go purchases, which is located at 1960 5th Ave. S. St. Petersburg, FL 33712.
