  • Holiday Spectacular on the Riverwalk: Several displays float on barges in the river, along with a 35-foot lighted Christmas tree that floats in the harbor. Hotels, restaurants and bars along the Riverwalk are also decorated and add to the general display. Runs nightly through Jan. 2.

  • Winter Village in Curtis Hixon Park: Family and friends can gather to celebrate the holiday at Tampa's outdoor skating rink. There's also a large light display, shops and a choo-choo train for kids. Advanced purchase, paperless tickets required for skating.

  • ZooTampa’s Christmas in the Wild: An outdoor seasonal adventure featuring twinkling lights, wildlife, holiday treats and adventures. This year includes the Forest of Fantasy, a Christmas Market, Holiday Kaleidoscope, Illuminate, Caribbean Christmas and Felices Dias Festivos. Timed reservations are strongly recommended as crowds will be limited. Masks are required and social distancing is enforced.

  • Sunset Yappy Hour: For the month of December, The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Tampa is partnering with Humane Society of Tampa Bay to host a sunset happy hour. All proceeds aid the Humane Society and its mission to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need.

Pinellas County

  • Vintage Marche: Located in St. Petersburg, in the heart of the Warehouse Arts District across from 3 Daughters Brewing, Vintage Marche open their doors on the first Saturday and Sunday of each month for a grand two-day event to showcase thousands of treasures you’re unlikely to locate anywhere else.   • Rare Alligator Exhibit: The Alligator & Wildlife Discovery Center is excited to announce the arrival of several rare alligators as part of a special exhibit in cooperation with Love Reptiles. The exhibit will give guests the opportunity to not only see these extremely rare and beautiful animals, but also interact with them and enjoy a once in a lifetime experience. See albino, melanistic, and piebald alligators with some of these species having less than 20 in existence worldwide.
